CoinShare
CoinShare was added today. If you're not familiar with CoinShare, I will explain it.
CoinShare can be activated in your friends chat. You can only toggle the CoinShare if you're the owner of the friends chat.
If the CoinShare is activated in the friends chat you're currently in, then anyone in the friends chat will be activated for CoinShare. What this does, is it evenly distributed coins to everyone in the friends chat, depending on the item dropped and how many are in the friends chat at the time.
For an example, if I got a bandos tassets drop from graardor, which have a trade value of 12m, and there are 10 players in the friends chat and the coinshare is activated, everyone in the friends chat will receive 120,000x coins, because 12,000,000 / 10 = 1,200,000.
If you're wanting to boss independently, so that you get your full loot, you will need to leave the current friends chat you're in, or if you're the owner of the friends chat, toggle off the coinshare function, or you could politely ask the owner of the fc to turn it off for you. :)
Bug Fixes & Anti-Magic Shield
-Curses are no longer allowed at old-school PK.
-Rocktails are no longer allowed to be eaten at old-school PK
-The old-school whip's price was changed to 25m, so that it will keep on death over dharoks, etc, etc.
-A banker was placed at old-school PK, so you wouldn't have to go home everytime you wanted to bank.
-The anti-magic shield was added to the goodies store. This will protect you from all mage attacks.
-The way in which you receive redeems has been changed. Instead of instantly getting the redeems onto your account, you will now receive a redeems scroll; and when you claim the scroll then they will go onto your account. This makes it much easier and safer to buy/sell/stake/risk redeems.
Old-School PK Is Here!
That's right, the long waited old-school pk area is finally here. Get here by using the purple portal > Special PK > Old-School PK. And... I freaking love this update!
Why? I'll tell you why. In order to be even slightly "overpowered" in here, you need to be risking some sort of barrows set.
The items are registered and automatically detected when wearing them when stood in the old-school area. :)
